It's out
She was hoping it would come out at school so she could get one of those little plastic treasure chests that they keep in the health room for just such an occasion. By all means it should have come out at school -- that sucker was super loose when she got home today -- with the promise of a smoothie-pop and a quick push on the tooth from mom -- it was out.
She is calling everyone to herald her big news.
Congratulations busy-Beth. Tooth Fairy -- get on it.

Very exciting!! How much does the Tooth Fairy leave these days, anyway?
When my friend's oldest daughter unexpectedly lost her first tooth right before bed, my friend was horrified to realize that the smallest bill she had in her wallet was a $20. Set the bar kind of high for tooth fairy visits from that point on, and little Emily started working those baby teeth with enthusiasm :)
Trish, tell your friend that makes me feel so much better. My husband gave Winnie five bucks the first tooth and I thought that was crazy. We said the tooth fairy only pays big bucks for the first one.
The tooth fairly still leaves money? I'm on my way over to your house with a pair of pliers to steal some teeth. I need quick cash.
