First comes boredom, then comes ebay

I am playing my part in some kind of housewife stereotype right about now.

Not that getting ones ebay on is a bad thing, but still -- if you only knew...

I listed my first ebay auction! With Kay's assistance on the ebay advice hotline!
Sorry for all the !!! But my first auction, and blogger buddy contact -- it's the little things friends.

I am completely and compulsively obsessed with my auction and "similar items" -- I'm fairly sure this is where the 'leaning toward something pathetic' feeling is coming from, but I can't seem to stop myself from checking on my item. I've got days to go and already I'm thinking of other things I could sell.

I give things away because I hate a hassle and I like to give people free stuff because as a mom, I know how fun it is to get hand me down free stuff for the kids -- dump it forward. But now, now I have some kind of ebay fever, so we shall see.

"Too damn lazy" -- that's my excuse.
But once you get through the initial red tape, it will be easy to post another auction. And remember my problem with getting to the post office? Not a problem, because I can print my own lables and they come pick it up from my house (no charge!).
My friend did it that way and she said you don't even need special printer paper -- just print regular and tape to box...
We'll see.

Lalalalalala I can't hear you about printing your own lables.. why because I own at least 4 printers but can never part with the money for new cartridges. El cheapo grande. I go to my mom's house to print, she prints EVERYTHING. I hate paper, unless its for wrapping presents..

haha word verification "smine"

as iin " IT's MINE" get your grubby paws off of it!!!!!!

ok, you make this all sound so easy...I may be tempted to list something myslef. When they tore down our old high school, we bought some of the old oak doors, with the idea that I would list them on Ebay. that was 3 years ago, and I still have 22 doors in my garage!!!! and my men never let me forget it either, cuz we had to tear out every. single. door. and then carry them down 3 flights of stairs....oh I was in some pain that night!

Whatever you do, stay away from eBay Motors! It's hypertension inducing.

My brother bought two boats there and is now trying to sell one back. It's been educational, to put it kindly, what with people bidding in the last minute then backing out of the deal, claiming they got called to work offshore, wanting to make the trailer a deal breaker when the bid page says twice that it's not for sale... Or wanting to change the payment terms after the fact...

My bro was obsessed at first. Then he started getting irritated. Right now he's just livid at the way people have wasted his time. He finally understands why motor listings have so many warnings and disclaimers in angry foot high red letters.

I suspect that your niche of the market is nothing like that, but be warned!

my friend is experiencing some weird stuff like that on craigslist

The trouble some people will go through just to try to scam her out of a used sofa...
