7 random things:

1. Before it got broken, I rarely used my spoon rest. I didn't like it getting ooked up and would rather clean the stove top than have to deal with the dirty spoon rest.

2. I love coffee. Me and coffee, coffee and me -- 2good 2b 4gotten, 2gether 4ever -- it's like that.

3. I don't think my adrenal glands are too happy about my love affair with the coffee.

4. I have lesbian hands. I read a study about testosterone exposure in utero and what, if anything, it had to do with autism -- somewhere in there it mentioned a correlation between ring finger length and lesbians -- if your ring finger is longer than your index finger you are more likely to be a lesbian (something like that).

5. I'm not attracted to women in the, want to be your life partner way, but sometimes I do dress a lot like Ellen, hmmmm.

6. Once I tried to jump some rail road tracks with my car . Apparently, I'm not a stunt driver and I got my car stuck on the tracks instead (the road was under construction, there was a ledge...). As I was walking to a phone, I heard the ding, ding, ding of the train warning, lights, gate, horns, breaks, LOUD metal smashing. That poor conductor. The people I worked with had a field day.

7. I love a good coat. Be it trendy or classic -- it's the one thing I don't mind paying full price for and if I had a home with decent closet space, I might aspire to be the Imelda of coats.

yippe!! i love it when people do my tags!!

i always find it funny about people and their coffee. if you love it you HAVE to have it. you are like BFF's. my hubby is like that. me i'm not a coffee drinker. i can drink it just don't normally. plus me and caffeine don't mix well.

did your car seriously get hit by a train????

and i can't do the coffee either. well, maybe i can. i just found out that the 'coffee' i kept ordering at the local spot was actually espresso. no wonder i was so jazzed after.

so, is your 2nd toe longer than your first toe too, or is the anomaly limited to your fingers?

mel, seriously. It was after a pm shift at work, a bunch of us were going to meet at a co-workers house b/c it was too late for the bars.

So it was two in the morning and I did not even think of the possibility of a train actually coming -- I just wanted to get my car off of the tracks before I got busted (because I kind of went around some barriers. in my defense, they did say open to local traffic -- I figured if the locals could get through, well, so could I -- and I would have to, if it weren't for me thinking I could take those tracks instead of backing up and going over the dirt path...)

You think you can, but you can not imagine the feeling you get when you hear the ding, ding, ding sound and your car is not where it should be.

Someone at work taped an article about "how stupid do you have to be to get hit by a train". Hey, at least I didn't stop there for a nap .

...I know, I still qualify for stupid.

as for the toes -- they seem regular -- maybe that's why I'm not gay.

yes, very thankful nobody was hurt, but again, that poor conductor -- he must have thought he killed someone.

I totally checked my fingers just to be sure I didn't need to leave my husband.

The train story has to be one of the best of the ten thousand random sevens that I've read this week. So awesome.

Melek, my sister in law swears that if your second toe is longer than your big it's a sign of royalty. Maybe that's because her second toe is longer than her big toe, but whatever.

The person who gets their car demolished by a train wonders how someone blows up a gas pump??

Maybe we should do a poll..
