I may have to toss my computer out the window

I seem incapable of saying no to the time suck of the web this week. I have things to do. Boring things, but they must get done, nonetheless. It's raining, I'm kind of cranky -- sacrificing an entire day to the keyboard just seems so much more appealing than my responsibilities right now.

And fricken facebook -- what of that? Connecting with friends has been great, but the compulsive checking of my page...lovely, and much like a hole in my head.

Thank you blog, for letting me get that off of my chest. I'm going to go do ten minutes of Pilates and see if that won't remove some of the tension that I am feeling today.

It's a problem. I've been trying to ask myself honestly if it's a serious problem, as in: Do I need help? Should I see a therapist? Stop cold turkey?

Or, yeah, toss the thing out the window.

I just don't get the whole Facebook thing....really. I haven't connected with anyone from my past!!! How do people do that?

and twitter??? I really don't need to know when someone pees or ties their shoes or goes to the store, or brushes their teeth.

I just don't get it.!

Liane -- Sometimes I seriously have to walk away for a few days. It's like being electrocuted, you can let go until you cut the power...or something like that.

orion -- my pleasure.

Beth -- It's a high school reunion on my page, and all my Milwaukee friends who faded away when I had babies and then moved 30 miles away (seems close, but busy, busy -- rarely see folks from that town).

TTQ -- Some people do update it all, don't they? I hear that's a twitter thing, no thanks. I'm glad you drop in despite your loathing of facebook.

Cecily -- I'll e-mail you so we can be friends, I would Love that.
