I am living well

...Because Nate told me to!

I have to say that I never knew it could be so much fun to not meet somebody. And think, for that moment in which Nate was writing the name my sister gave him -- I was on the mind of Nate Berkus. Not just any Kim -- me Kim.

Plus, she did a little pimpin for me and my knobs were briefly discussed. If I never sell my art, I will always have that little tid bit -- so rich with sophomoric humor possibilities, I'm just going to leave it.

I'm thinking I'm kind of a decorator groupie because this was so much fun, I think I'm going to send her after Candice Olson next.

So if rock star groupies get their chests signed and then tattooed, I'm thinking I'll get fabric swatches signed and then have them embroidered. What do you think?

Fingerprints!

Kay, you are so freaking smart, can't believe I forgot about the DNA angle.
I've been reading that book, maybe our skin cells have even mingled.

also, in the section on painting he advises to buy the good brushes -- did I not just advise the very same thing?! We even think alike.

(shhh)

I'm guessing girl knobs are not his thing.

Where you been tooth fairey? I'm talking about painted knobs-- the drawer pull kind. I posted them earlier, but you missed it with your MIA self.

That's okay -- not a lot of excitement on the maraca front.

OK, I met Nate at this Oprah live your best life thing. It was like this all-day thing that was only 18 bucks or something ... like a festival. Nate was there, her chef was there doing cooking classes, one of her money people was there. Oprah and Gayle were there and Oprah did this big speech. And we got a big bag full of freebies, which was awesome. Anyway, all of the women were DROOLING over Nate. He is a little shortie--I wanted to put him in my pocket--but he is super cute and has gorgeous eyes and is SOOOOO NICE. He was just hanging out talking to people. I got him to sign something for me and then I asked him WTF to do with my crappy apartment, and he gave me a bunch of ideas, most of which I still haven't gotten around to.
