Proud moments

When I correct my kids, often times they take themselves way too seriously and a small bicker fest ensues. I get worried -- maybe they won't ever learn to take their lumps, never develop the ability to make it on the mean streets.

This week Winnie has been on a sassy streak. I don't remember which particular prompted her to talk to me like I was so stupid this time, but I asked, "Gee Winnie, how do you live with such a stupid mom?"

She said, "I manage."

I was so proud.

Okay, I'll admit it -- I've been seeing other websites

My blog is dying from neglect due to facebook. I haven't had the time to do regular posts, so I've been getting my quick fix over at the other place.
I miss my blogger buddies though. I've found a couple of you, but if the rest of you have a page, drop me an e-mail so I can find you.

I'm not killing the blog off, but for the near future, I'm just too busy with the podcasting fourth graders to get quality time with my PC.

Happy New Year friends!!!

I married him for his ingenuity

I thought anyone still reading this blog might enjoy this little tid-bit. Rich didn't want to get any needles in the carpet while dragging the tree out -- his answer?

Lawn bags and a sawzall.

Cafe' Au Lait in driftwood (like you might find on an island beach)

Get taken away to exotic beaches. Immerse yourself in island life. Feel the heat of the tropics and the passion within the pages of this romantic gem.
If I were single and still in my twenties, I'd hop on a plane and head for the nightlife of Trinidad.
Nice read Liane!
